Where is your recycling facility located?
We are currently located at 211-A C.C. Clark Road in Starkville, MS. From MS Hwy 12, turn onto Airport Rd. Continue driving on Airport Rd until you reach the end and arrive at the 4 way stop. Take a left onto Miley Rd. Continue driving on Miley Rd until you reach C.C. Clark Rd. Take a LEFT onto C.C. Clark Rd and we are located at the end where the bright green recycling bins are stationed.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
We close daily between 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. for lunch.
What types of recyclable materials are accepted at your recycling facility?
Newsprint, office paper, mixed paper, cardboard, aluminum, brass, scrap metal, steel, electronics, and automotive batteries are currently accepted at our facility.
What types of materials are NOT accepted at your recycling facility?
Glass, Plastics, Styrofoam, roofing shingles, furniture, yard waste, wooden pallets, clothing, or hazardous materials are accepted at our facility.
What types of electronics are accepted for recycling?
Computer monitors, CPUs, keyboards, printers, copiers, fax machines, laptops, televisions, CD and DVD players and radios are a few examples of electronics that are accepted.
We do NOT accept light bulbs, alkaline batteries, cell phones or circuit boards for recycling.
Is there a fee for recycling electronics?
Yes. The fee for the electronic waste recycling program is charged as follows:
TV’s and Monitors - $10.00 each
Computer Towers, Laptops, Printers, Radios, etc. - No Charge
What types of recyclable materials can be sold for payment at your facility?
We currently pay for all aluminum cans, scrap metal, nonferrous metals and automotive batteries.
We do NOT purchase any metals regulated by the State of Mississippi. This includes copper, railroad materials, agricultural components, metal bridge pilings, metal beer kegs, metal syrup tanks, manhole covers, catalytic converters not attached to a motor vehicle or any bronze vase, memorial, statue, plaque or other bronze object used at a cemetery.
How much are you paying for the different types of materials that can be sold at your facility?
Our paying prices change on a weekly basis. Please contact our office for further details.
Does your company offer Zero Landfill recycling services?
Yes. Our goal is to help industries become zero landfill by offering a recycling plan to accommodate their industrial waste disposal/removal needs. We believe our industrial recycling service gives us the flexibility to provide industries with the best return on investment for their specialty materials including, but not limited to, card board, paper, wooden pallets, and even dunnage. We can prepare a plan to help each company become a zero landfill facility while making it easy for them to monitor and report their green initiatives. This allows them to boost their brand image and remain focused on the production of their company.
Does your company offer recycling containers for the collection of paper and cardboard materials?
Yes. We currently offer both 6 yd and 8 yd recycling containers to local businesses for this type of material collection.
When are the materials collected in the recycling containers removed?
We remove the collected materials every Friday.
